First post

I am actually pretty excited to be reading this book because it really does feel like a walk in the park. Its length is perfect, the topic so far has been an enjoyable read, and it is just much easier to get through every word and every sentence understanding everything I am reading -- with the other novels, ESPECIALLY Notes of the Underground, it was incredibly difficult to be able to read a page once and actually understand it. With Sense of an Ending, I can actually understand by reading things once through, making it a lot easier to comprehend. I really like what the book will be about, I like the idea of just having 4 friends interact with each other and have it be a story of friendship like that. I think it's going to turn out to be a story of their friendship. I like the fact that it is about four friends also for the fact that it is in our age range, making it relatable. I am curious to see how each of the four character's personalities develop. I hope they will all be very different from one another so I could see how different people react to different things, kind of like how I am doing in my term paper with Crime and Punishment along with Notes from the Underground. I like how this book is also including a girl so early into the novel. I am curious to see how she plays out to affect everyone in the novel. I am happy to be reading this "walk-in-the-park" type of book -- it is a nice break from all the other intense and hard work demanding novels we have been reading!
